¡Experience a foreign language course like I did!

Are you graduating from high school? Did you drop out of university because you did not like it? Did you quit work because your job was not challenging enough? Or do you still not have plans for your summer or winter holiday? Doing a language course will certainly help you focus on what you want in the future, from your career and in your social life. And if you like studying during the mornings and free afternoons, it is both a fantastic and educational way to fill your holidays, whatever age you have.

I am a 19 year old Dutch tourism student and I have done the Spanish language course in Spain a month ago. I really enjoyed my stay and course and I am very interested to learn a new language next year. Out of my experiences I can conclude that doing a language course abroad has a lot of advantages:
One of them is that you will have a better position in the labour market because of your attractive curriculum. You will not only have knowledge of a modern foreign language but also, if you apply for a job whilst abroad (e.g. an office or bar), you will have the chance to practise the language whilst undertaking the language course. This experience has great potential to expand your curriculum even further.
You get to know new friends from all over the world who have same interests as you. They can teach you about their culture and because everybody is in the same position, you will notice that you bond a lot more quickly than back home. You can do your homework together or have a drink in a bar after school, go to the beach, have cultural exchanges, go shopping, cook together or go out for dinner, and much more - all whilst learning the language!
Furthermore, you will explore new parts of the world without being a tourist. Wherever you are in the world, there are always new things to explore that you haven’t seen before. For example: mount the Notre Dame in Paris, France, enjoy a cricket match in Melbourne, Australia, count the bridges in St. Petersburg, Russia, observe the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, admire the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt, visit the Vatican in Rome, Italy, watch a Sumo fight in Tokyo, Japan. And explore much more whilst practising the language with locals and friends.
If you choose to live with local people, you will notice you become immersed in the culture and this will definitely widen your horizons. I guarantee that these experiences will have a positive effect on your educational and personal development.
I imagine you don’t want to study and work until you are retired to enjoy your leisure time and explore new destinations so why not learn a new language now and make new friends from all over the world. So if you are not sure what you want for the future, doing a language course is a great opportunity to find out.
If you are having doubts about which foreign language you would like to learn, this website can help you decide and a course advisor can help you choose. On requesting a free online brochure, you will be contacted by the course advisor to discuss the next steps to enrolling in a language course and widening your horizons.
So what is stopping you? You too can experience all this!

Prutstrurne had stressed, “you dont really need or want that lifestyle, it might hurt y’all slowly more.” As for me, the blog does vividly express the idea that experiencing the gayness of learning foreign languages abroad is quite- FUN!

It’s true! If chances be given, why not try it ,right? By then, you are not only doing one thing ,which is purely- learning, but also, have enjoyment all over the place where you would be studying the language then.AGREE?

It’s true that, once you learn the language of a certain place, you’r also learning their custom, bhavior, and practices. It’s true, because language is created out from culture. Try to trace the historical background of a particular language, and you’ll see that it’s most root is the century and innate nature of the people comprising the place.

It would be an edge for people to learn copious number of foreign languages abroad. World for them would be more wider, more happier, more discoveries, more peers to be met in different races, and the most, more self-uplifting! Yes, it is, in the sense of being so close to people who are naturally using the just language you’ve learned. You could then manage to go in any corner of that place with out ristriction or barrier.

So, fellows, let’s extend this idea of learning foreign languages anywhere globally; and let’s extend our opportunity to mingle with our diverging brothers and sisters with their peculiar culture throughout the wolrd!

Thanks for the encouragement Shia! Due of what you’ve shared, I bet, many would be persuade to do the campaign to broaden the world of every person through studying lots of foreign languages. There are people who are so good of learning and of using them into real conversation all through out the hemispheres. But still, there are those who couldn’t. The seemed campain of language learning, could be a great help.
I could share one incident wherein, learning numbers of other foreign languages is important. Last night, I met a guy form England. He is a business man. He came here for a visit only with his chatmet ( he didn’t tell me the girl’s name). But all of a sudden, he backed out. He said, his chatmet can’t converse with him. She can’t speak English as he does. Thus, it triggered him to go back at the hotel he is checking in now. He was so misfortunate to have his time here and no one to talk widely.
My friend called me and asked me if I could talk with this guy. We really had a talk then, that’s why I know what is happening to him. I made him feel that Filipinos are not dump and dull! What I am trying to say is that, if only his chatmet did learn English language, which is foreign for us here, she should have speak to him freely. But what happened was very shameful one! If I were the girl, I’d rather educate myself with those languages first before submerging myself to the battle field!
Let’s try to be more language oriented folks!
