Chinese Learning French to Go and Stay Abroad

Chinese Learning French: Montreal, Quebec

Going abroad to travel, work, and even migrate is the most chosen options for people who wanted to have a greener pasture. I mean, hey; people will really prefer to become more practical when it comes to financial aspects. And since the need to travel abroad rises, a person’s knowledge about the universal language is honestly not enough. Learning the language—or even languages—in the certain place you are planning to go to is a mandate. There really is an edge when you know foreign languages prior to English.

Just as The Chronicle Herald posted; in fairness to the people in Beijing, thousands of people are “trying to write their own ticket out of the country — in French.” And for Yin Shanshan, a Chinese commoner who desperately wants to go to Canada, she “discovered a backdoor into Canada that involves applying for entry into the country’s francophone province of Quebec”. And unless she has good language skills with the local lingo, she cannot really migrate at all.

A large number of Chinese really are interested in migrating. In fact, they are taking every chance they can taker in saying “Bonjour, je m’appelle Zhang.” As for Yin Shanshan, she takes it as her priority. She said the French class she takes in the port city of Tianjin near Beijing even includes primers on Quebec’s history and its geography, including the names of suburbs around its biggest city, Montreal.

You must have thought that studying foreign language courses such as these out of obligation is tedious. Well, Yin said her French class is a lot of fun. “So far, I can say ‘my name is . . . I come from . . . I live at’ ” and, getting straight to the business of settling down in the province: “I would like to rent a medium-sized, one-bedroom flat. ”

Even though China is a growing country and it has an average prosperity so fat, more and more citizens are “rushing to the exits”. Most Chinese are looking more to provide themselves and their families’ better education. Also, they are also escaping from their country’s long-standing problems, including hazardous pollution and contaminated food.

See how people are trying to travel and even migrate to other countries? That is why we are compelling you to learn foreign languages. Besides, this is also for your own advantage. If you are looking for options concerning how to learn French at language school, we will gladly assist you.

Supremely interested method to Learn Spanish Language

“I had a friend, years ago, who learned to speak fluent Spanish with a perfect Mexican accent while working as a line cook at an Applebees here in Texas (he decided to do this because everyone else in the kitchen was a native Spanish speaker with very limited English skills), and the method he used is…interesting, funny, and just plain damn ingenious all at the same time.”

telenovela method to Learn Spanish Language

Marimar (telenovela) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

You must have been pretty interested with what kind of method is being used as what the friend’s author mentioned in the quoted statement above. It’s not a very common learning method, actually, especially that Spanish language learning has more than the several learning methods we know of today. Well, to end this exaggerated introduction, the method that the mentioned friend used was the telenovela method.

Yes, Mexican Spanish has so many telenovelas aired on television. In fact, my country specifically embraced an era when Spanish telenovelas were famous in almost everyday. This was the time when we met Thalia, the most famous Spanish actress and singer we used to know of.

If you are interested with such telenovelas, as Spanish learner, you can take advantage of such interest by watching these telenovelas as well. You can watch them on Youtube or download it on selected sites if you really want to avail it. If it has subtitles, it’s even better. Not only that you will get fascinated with the story (usually, Spanish telenovelas are love stories) and adore the handsome and beautiful main characters, but you will have this chance to learn Spanish language enjoyably!

I hope Spanish telenovela can really help you with your learning. But of course, depending on these methods alone cannot maximize a person’s learning if he depend on these only. It is really more recommended to go to foreign language schools and have a formal and concentrated learning there.

Organizers Played the Role of a Foreign Language School in Spanish Territories

Spanish Scrabble

Spanish Scrabble (Photo credit: Arthaey)

“Experts say it’s important for adults to first master reading and writing in a native language before jumping into English as a Second Language courses.”

Is it true? This is what the NY Daily News posted in one of its daily articles concerning English language learning. If we could think of it logically, how are we going to master and learn English language if we don’t even master our own native language?

A group of organizers called Unidad de Voluntarios para la Educacion de Adultos are compelled to teach Spanish in rural parts in Mexico and in Central America. In fact, more than a dozen other groups around the city also offer adult classes in Spanish literacy, as the news detailed since most students in the area had only a few years of school in their home country and never learned to read and write.

Actually, the very purpose these organizers are compelled to teach on the first place is the English language. However, just as the italic text posted above,  since it is important for adults to first master reading and writing in their own native language before proceeding to learn English, they first teach the residents there how to become excellently fluent in Spanish language—their own native language. After the residents master their native language, the volunteers can then proceed to let them learn English language.

We can’t send people to English classes if they can’t read or write in Spanish,” said Gonzalo Mercado, executive director of El Centro del Inmigrante in Staten Island.
The said learning process has touched various lives, especially the women since they have the most number of students at all. Carmen Gonzalez, a 46-year-old Mexican immigrant is one of the women who availed the language learning program. She was so inspired to read a certain book with a Spanish translation, and she sharpened her skills through it.

This is indeed a very inspiring updates about language learning, right? Thankful are we for the volunteers who are compelled to teach foreign languages. They may not have the luxuries of a foreign language school, but they have the mission to let the people make the world smaller.

Don’t wait for such opportunity; this only comes seldom. Stand on your feet and choose to learn and master your own native language first, then proceed to the next level: the level of foreign language learning.

Learn French through Fairy Tales

learn french: old french fairy tales.

old french fairy tales. Rosalie saw before her eyes a tree of marvelous beauty. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

French is a beautiful language indeed. I’ve always been a fan of Walt Disney movies and I tend to memorize songs and dialogues of most of their cartoon and animated movies. Yet, when I heard their songs sang in French translation, it becomes even more fascinating. Indeed, just as a certain Youtube user commented about the same topic, French is so melodic; and the language has been the smoothest sounding language so far.

No wonder many people are interested to learn French. It is romantic, good to hear, and of course, a great advantage when you will work, travel, or study in Europe.

As far as learning methods are concerned, you can name lots of methods used to learn French: music and songs, language schools, movies, reading, games and even synopsis. But for an enjoyable and childish way of learning, I bet fairy tales’ songs can be a good choice.

This is one example of a song translated in French. The lyrics are provided below. Listen to its pronunciation as you follow its lyrics at the same time. The song is a famous medley in the movie Cinderella.

Hummmm hummmmm

C’est ça l’amour

Hummm hummmm Le grand amour

L’amour qui fait chanter la vie

Là dans tes bras Hummm hummm Je sais déjà (Je sais déjà)

Que mon bonheur est infini

Mon coeur s’affole Hummm hummm Et je m’envole

Je danse sous une pluie d’étoiles

Tu es ce que j’attendais

Tu es mon rêve fou

Hummmm hummmm (Hummmm hummm)

C’est ça l’amour

Inspring, isn’t it? I even my self am fascinated how French is being pronounced and sang. And the spelling, man, it’s so fascinating. Who would not want to learn French, you know.

So you, French learners, don’t prolong your interests in learning French at all! Contact us for more and further details.

Not convinced of going to a language school to learn English? Yeah, yeah, there are so many ways of acquiring the language already. Public or private schools are even teaching English already, in addition to the endless factors we can name of that involve the universal idiom.

Yet, if we only open our minds with the advantages of an English language for specific English language learning, you will not overlook this way of learning. Besides, schools are the best learning resource you can ever think of, right? There is no doubt about that.

In order for us to get persuaded with the fact that language schools are the best choices a learner can take, let us quote a few testimonials from students who actually had gone to language school learning in Malta. I’ve taken this from a certain language school where they recorded testimonials from students about how I impacted their lives. Let’s take time to read such insights.

“My experience at [language school in Malta] was much more than I expected.  As soon as I arrived, I found a very warm welcome and great hospitality.  During my stay there I was given a lot of attention.  Whenever I had questions or I needed support I got answers and help immediately.  I felt myself like at home. This is very important if you are alone abroad. I would like to specially thank my teacher Marcelle who has helped me to prepare for the Cambridge (BEC) Business English Certificate examination. Marcelle was always well prepared.  Her lesson plans for the day were always well thought-out and her teaching skills were exceptional. She is a real professional and knows how to teach in an enjoyable way.  I was very happy studying with her. I can say that the language school staff is a really strong team of professionals and I wish the school a lot of success in teaching English to people from all over the world.”

-         Veronika Gavrilova (Russia)

“Just a few words to tell you: I really enjoyed my stay at your English school in Malta.  Lessons were very well organized, teachers knew their stuff really well and used interesting and innovative teaching methods to help us learn English better.  I really enjoyed the relaxing ambience at school and its surroundings. I really look forward to going back next year.”

-         Giulia Cresti (Italy)

“I was in Malta for the Intensive English Course.  It was such a perfect combination – I had General English lessons in the morning and then Conversational classes in the afternoon in a very small group.  The conversational classes were great as we were speaking and discussing all the time.  I really improved my speaking thanks to the Conversational classes.”

-         Eszter Váczi (Hungary)
