Really? Did you even check to see if your translations were correct or just put them through a translator? Four of your German translations are not even close to what a native would say.

Meike is right about the german translation, also the french and arabic ones are just as bad. I also wonder if “Please help me!” really is the same in Italian. *hmm*
And then I would like to comment your last part:

“To know some of these popular statements is good, but to learn how to say them without referring to any translator is better.” duh – this sentence doesn’t make any sense!!! So to you to “know” is as good as to “say without referring to any translator” – what’s your definition of “to know”?!
“Numerous benefits of language learning are confirmed from different places worldwide.” – what is “different places worldwide”?! I’m not convinced.
“Would you like to make a difference?” Would you?
“I urge you to start now.” Is english your mothertongue? Maybe YOU should start first.
So sorry, but in my opinion this article is worthless.

@ Meri: No article is worthless.
This might be worthless to you, but not to some other people who would find
this article, like me.
I found the list of popular language useful and intersting.
It is true that Chinese is now gaining a momentum. Is the sleeping giant now slowly waking up? In the next
decades or so parents who would like to prepare their children for the competetive world then encoruage
their chidlren to learn one European language and Chinese besides the English language.
I think this blog is written with the author’s point of view. If he or she thinks that these phrases are useful then so be it. It did not push you to believe it or not.
I am convinced that learning another languge has limitless of benefits.

I don’t think this article is worthless. In my opinion, once you used a language translator you can find out that it is not really exact to the native language, but if you can at least understand what the translator is trying to say. It does not mean that we should rely on language translators alone, because it is expected that not all of the languages can be exactly translated by this tool. It is a matter of common sense, and besides this article is still worthy to others, perhaps not for you but for the other readers like me.
