Zoni Pacific-Global Language Centre plans activities for the variety of interests that our students bring to the campus. Both formal and informal gatherings and outings allow students from around the world to learn more about each other while practicing their English and enjoying the attractions that Vancouver offers. We have selected host families that will plan activities with you to introduce you to the city of Vancouver, use your newly learned English skills, and forge a lasting bond with the family that will help you through your study of the English language. Host families often take the students they sponsor to museums, parks and other attractions that appeal to local Vancouver residents rather than the large amounts of tourists who visit the city. You will continue to learn English after class has been released every day, thanks to the efforts of your host family.
The city of Vancouver also offers a number of different activities for you to enjoy during your stay as an international English student at Zoni Pacific-Global Language Centre. Vancouver’s museums, libraries and theatres offer an endless supply of entertainment, education and interaction with native English speakers – giving you the opportunity to practice your skills in an open and changing situation. This is the real test of your English skills, and enough practice will help you succeed.
