Activities – enjoy Newcastle besides your English classes at the language school

If you’re going abroad in order to learn English, study or work, you have to remind yourself that these things are not the only thing that is important. You’re also going abroad to have fun, explore and experience. We offer all our students a year round social program, so that they have enough opportunities to enjoy their period in Newcastle.

Weismann travel has voted on Newcastle as the best city in Britain for night life. Enough pubs, clubs and restaurants to spend your time in the evening, but there are also possibilities to bowl, go to the cinema or the theatre and they even organise international food parties! This all proves that Newcastle is one of the top cities in Britain for weekend breaks.

Not only doing stuff is possible in this amazing city, but also just see and witness different sights and events is also possible. Newcastle offers the hoppings annual fair, the Tall Ships fireworks and the Chinese New Year celebration every year and the millennium bridge, Quayside and even the theatre royal are worth a visit.

Not only Newcastle has a lot to offer, but cities around it are also fun to visit! The English School in Newcastle organises trips or excursions outside of Newcastle on Saturdays.

You have to pay for these excursions but the average cost of £30 per trip is definitely worth it!
