ELA offers a personal service to student. Our offices are open all day to assist clients. We do not only offer courses, but accommodation, transfers and activities Groups are small and international. There is a "family" atmosphere in our school.
All types of courses are offered for all ages. It is located in Sliema Malta's foremost residential and tourist town in Malta. It is close to a beautiful seafront promenade and rocky beach. It is on the main bus route. ELA is the LSI partner school in Malta, An accredited founder member of FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta) and currently the first and only centre in Malta to offer TOEFL iBT. ELA is an official representative of the University of Malta and also recognised by Bildungurslaub and CSN.
The English Language Academy was one of the first schools in Malta and is, in fact a founder member of FELTOM which is celebrating it 20th anniversary this year. Although the school was established in 1988 it still keeps its identity as a "small" school in today's market since we pride ourselves in giving students personal attention, hence the small groups all year round. We also aim to keep our groups international. We feel this is very important. It "forces" students to speak English and creates a wonderful atmosphere in the school and during activities. There is a "family" atmosphere in our school.
Over the years we have achieved the following: ELA is the partner school of LSI in Malta (www.lsi.edu) with over 40 years experience in the field of EFL – an official representative of the University of Malta and and now that FELTOM has introduced the accreditation scheme, an accredited founder member.
