English School in Honolulu
EF Honolulu is located just a three minute walk from one of the most famous beaches in the world - Waikiki Beach. Located on the 11th floor of a modern and spacious building is EF Honolulu. The school has classrooms with huge windows, giving you great views of Honolulu’s cityscape as well as glorious ocean views. The school has a large, fullyfurnished student lounge where students can do everything from relaxing with friends and watching television to making use of the wireless Internet on their computers. In addition, on the ground floor of the building is a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, The Shack restaurant/bar, a surf shop and night clubs. In addition to the beaches and fabulous hotels, Waikiki has incredible shopping steps from the school and the residence.
The School Director is assisted by an accomplished staff of teachers and administrators. There is also an Activities Coordinator who organizes EF activities and excursions for the students. The school offers the following facilities:

Sports facilities at the language school
No on-site facilities. But there are health centres within close walking distance to the school offering gym. There are also parks closely offering volleyball / beach volleyball, tennis, soccer and basketball courts. Located by the beach, students have various exciting water and beach sports to choose between.
EF Level Placement Test and Orientation
Within 24-hours after booking your course, you’ll receive your personalized EF username and password for the online iLab. Before traveling, you will take the EF Level Placement test online. This test will measure your language level and ability. From the results of this test, our academic team will place you in one of six language levels. When you arrive at the school, you will receive your schedule as part of your orientation day as well as further activities and information. As your English language skills become stronger, you’ll be promoted to the next language level. You may speak to your teacher if you feel you are in the wrong level. Please note: you will have both morning and afternoon classes.
Special Interest Courses
Depending on your course type you may also select a number of special interest (SPIN) classes. The selection of SPIN classes varies throughout the year and a student may not be able to repeat the same SPIN class. Each lesson is 40 minutes in length, and two lessons are combined into one eighty-minute teaching period.
iLab Learning
All English language school courses include six iLab sessions per week. iLab sessions complement and reinforce classroom learning in an interactive on-line learning environment. *Please note: the iLab is not included in the EF Basic Course.
University Placement Programs
EF International Language Schools offers a University Placement Service (UPS) that provides guaranteed admission into a university or college for qualified students. If you are interested in continuing your studies, you are encouraged to talk with the UPS Coordinator at your school. If students meet the requirements, they may enroll in Harvard University Extension School classes that meet at night following their regularly scheduled EF classes.
University Transfer Credit
Through our partnership with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), EF International Language School students may be eligible to receive university credit for their coursework. The credentials you gain will last a lifetime!
