Student Apartments, Hotels and Hostels

With 1.5 million acres of swamps, saw-grass prairies and sub-tropical jungles, Everglades National Park surrounds Miami-Dade County and provides a home for thousands of species found nowhere else in the world. It is truly one of the most unusual public parks in the United States, for it is home to rare and endangered species such as the American Crocodile, the Florida Panther, and the West Indian Manatee. At the Everglades, enjoy hiking, backpacking, bird watching, canoeing and other recreational activities that this national park offers.

South Beach

Students who desire some privacy and independence may want to stay in their own apartment, hotel room or hostel. Single or double occupancy is available. Apartments can come fully furnished with private bathroom, kitchen and living area. Access to the Internet and cable TV is available as well.

Zoni Regent Miami will assist students with all the arrangements such as placement within student apartments or booking of hotel rooms or hostels.

American Host Families

Zoni Regent ensures a safe, family environment for all our international students. When choosing host families, we sit with our prospective students to determine their needs and desires. Then our staff at Zoni carefully interviews possible host-family candidates. Our goal is to place our students in an environment where they can effectively apply the English language lessons learned in the classroom. All residences are guaranteed to be clean, safe and accommodating. Each location selected will be conveniently located within a reasonable distance of Zoni Regent.

Seaquarium

Located on the causeway between downtown Miami and Miami Beach, Miami’s Seaquarium is a world-class marine-life entertainment park featuring marine animal shows and presentations every day. This outdoor aquarium is only made possible because of the beautifully tropical climate of the Miami region. Do not miss the dolphins, manatees and sea lions as well as the three-ton killer whale.

Coral Castle

Coral Castle is an engineering marvel consisting of over 1,100 tons of carved coral rock located in Homestead, Florida. The builder, Latvian-born Edward Leedskalnin, stood a mere five feet tall and weighed approximately one hundred pounds but used coral rocks to build a castle to honor the love of his life, Agnes Scuffs. What is even more amazing is that he moved these rocks without the help of another person or any machine. When asked how he accomplished the feat, he answered that he had solved the mysteries of the pyramids. Edward Leedskalnin’s creation is quite an amazing site and definitely worth a look.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

The historical 50-acre estate was built as a winter home for American industrialist James Deering. European-inspired, the estate includes beautiful art and furnishings from the turn of the century as well as ten acres of gardens on Biscayne Bay. A historic village is also being restored on the property for the public. Today, the estate is a popular venue for tourists and hosts many events such as galas and weddings.

Parrot Jungle Island

Parrot Jungle is the newest attraction in Miami and offers visitors a fun, educational opportunity to get an up-close look at tropical birds in replicas of their natural habitats. Shows and exhibits also feature tigers, orangutans, reptiles, talking parrots and a number of other wildlife.

Disney World

Disney World is one of the largest tourist attractions in all of Florida, drawing an incredible domestic and international crowd. Synonymous with Disney World are the characters of Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the beauty of Cinderella’s Magic Kingdom. Disney World was the vision of Walt Disney, pioneer of animated entertainment. Today, the site includes an amusement park, a cultural exchange, an animal kingdom and a movie studio.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is home to NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. It is the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet Astronauts, see the giant rockets that propel humans into outer space, train in actual spaceflight simulators, and even view a launch. The complex also features an IMAX® theatre and the Astronaut Hall of Fame as well as many other exhibits and shows.
