You're a legal expert or a law student : discover French law and political sciences while following a specialized linguistic training !
Accord Language School's new program propose you an immersion in the French legal environment, and governmental institutions. You will meet professionals and elected representatives, while having general French classes and specialized French workshops. You will attend hearings at the Legal Court of Paris, and get acquainted with the current French legal and political scene. For those with a good level of French, Accord Language School, propose the coaching option : for 3 days, you will be accompanying an elected representative, a legal expert or a professional.

2 weeks, 60 hours.
Content of the Program
Elementary French level is required to register for this program.
1st week: general French courses + "Legal French" workshops
20 hours of French courses in a multinational class of your level and 3 "Legal French" workshops (total : 9 hours)
2nd week: thematic days or coaching
Tematic Days
Monday: hearings at the Legal Court of Paris
Tuesday: the National Assembly
Wednesday: the Senate, the Council of State
Thursday and Friday: law or political experts coming as external speakers
Coaching
From Monday to Wednesday, you will be accompanying either a lawyer or a representative, elected on a local, regional or national level.

Skills testing : written test and oral test in a one to one interview and course orientation in a multinational class corresponding to your level.
French course : learning to listen and understand, written and oral expression, phonetic corrections, grammar revising, speaking, role-play games, etc.

Whole day at the Legal Court of Paris
10:00 - 12:00 Meeting with a Parisian lawyer and hearing at the Legal Court of Paris.
13:30 - 16:00 Hearing at the Legal Court of Paris, at the magistrates'Court, or at the Court of first instance.
Visit of the Supreme Appeal Court. Meeting with a professional. Or coaching all day long.
You can accompany a local or national representative, a lawyer or another professional.
Tuesday
Whole day at the National Assembly
09:20 - 11:30 Guided visit of the National Assembly.
13:30 - 15:50 Meeting with a parliamentary attaché and common work on a bill that will be further transmitted to students. Or coaching all day long.

Wednesday
Whole day at the Senate or the Council of State
10:00 - 13:00 Guided visit of the Senate and meeting with a senator.
14:00 - 17:00 Guided visit of the Council of State and meeting with the petition examiner.

Thursday
External speakers coming at Accord Language School. In the morning, a speaker will be invited to deal with the questions of the presidential term of office, the cohabitation, the appointment of the Prime Minister and Ministers, the French diplomacy, Defence, Justice, the power distribution between the President and the Prime Minister, etc.
In the afternoon, a key political figure will be invited for a debate on relations between the political sphere and justice.
In the evening : another speaker will be invited to talk about the place of the State in France, its role and predominance.
Friday
External speakers coming at Accord Language School. All day long, law and political experts will make presentations on topics determined by the students along the program.
