Our French School "Ecole Suisse de Langues" in Montreux (Adults)

Founded in 1995 ESL enjoys its excellent location in the centre of Montreux. From balcony overlooking the Léman Lake one can enjoy a delightful view of Montreux and the famous Alps. A stone’s throw from the lake, which is a major attraction in itself, leaves the tourists an unforgotten view.

IH Montreux provides everything you need and expect from a modern language school. The school centre is spacious and bright with 7 newly furnished classrooms, a resource centre, Internet café, cafeteria and relaxation area. Our dynamic team of tutors, friendly, patient, highly motivated, are well trained to teach French as a foreign language, using the most up-to-date teaching methods. A maximum of 10 students per class permits our teaching staff a personalized control of each student and allows all the students to acquire in the most efficient way.

In addition to the adult school centre, ESL has another two junior camps, one is in a very famous ski resort Leysin (for spring, summer autumn) and the other is in Montreux (only for summer). In order to awake students’ interest in learning a language, the most modern and interesting teaching method is adopted combined with various activity programs, which admits the students to acquire French effectively.

Housed in a magnificent 4-star hotel, the junior school centre offers its young students top quality French and English courses as well as high standard accommodation in a choice of double or triple rooms.

There are 12 bright spacious and well-equipped classrooms in this centre. The students have access to a cinema, Internet cafe and leisure room, etc.. Situated at the heart of the ski resort, the school centre offers an ideal opportunity for making use of those most wonderful sports facilities in Leysin.
