Students from all over the world come here to learn the German language. BWS Germanlingua has a wide range of courses offered in small groups. The average number of students in groups is five to six and a maximum of ten to twelve during summer months. This way studying German is easier and much more fun. Main courses are the intensive and standard courses. Evening courses are also offered as well as senior courses, individual tutoring, business German and a lot more. It does not matter whether you are a beginner of the German language, or that you have basic, intermediate or almost perfect knowledge of it, BWS Germanlingua always has something for you! Six different levels are taught in the school. At the beginning of the program you will be required to take a placement test to find out which level suits you best. Courses start every Monday except for total beginners who have special starting dates of every four weeks.
The basis of this German language school's instruction is the contemporary usage of the language and the German language courses are concentrated on the comprehension of both the written and spoken language, and the development of your ability to express yourself in written and spoken language. The German language course follows a clear progression and intends to train every student with the grammar and sentence structures, and expand his of her vocabulary. Teaching methods are alternated and they assure you the best possible learning success. You will be trained in reading and listening comprehension, as well as oral and written expression either through individual instruction or through partner or group work. The school's main focus is on oral communication which you can put into practice in language learning discussions and games, role plays and leisure activities with your teachers outside the classroom! Regular tests are incorporated into the lessons to assess your progress in German language learning.

The school’s student library is open for those who want to continue studying after their lessons and the school’s teachers are readily available for advice and tips. In the school's cafeteria joint activities for the weekends and evenings are planned but it is also a popular meeting place during the breaks. It also enables an intensive interaction between teachers and students beyond lesson time. A computer room with free Internet access is also available for the students’ use. If you have accommodation concerns, the school will help you! You can stay with one of BWS Germanlingua’s carefully chosen host families or in one of the apartments where you can live by yourself or with other German language students from the school.
