Spanish School in Buenos Aires

Our Expanish Institute is located in downtown Buenos Aires and serves as a meeting point for students where they can speak with our staff directly, participate in activities, workshops, and excursions, practice Spanish, meet other locals and students, and just relax during the week days.

Student Help Desk

Our bilingual and multicultural staff is always available to assist students during business hours at our Expanish institute. Students are also given a 24 hour emergency contact number in case they need assistance outside of regular business hours.

Health and Traveler’s Insurance

Expanish encourages all Spanish students to have a comprehensive travel health and medical insurance for their time abroad in Argentina. For students who wish to buy insurance, Expanish has partnered with an international insurance company in order to offer students two affordable and detailed insurance packages. Health and Safety Information

Expanish considers health and safety to be of the utmost importance when developing its programs in Buenos Aires and all students are provided with a health and safety orientation upon arrival and advice throughout the duration of their program.

Airport Pick-up

Spanish students can request our airport pick-up service for their arrival in Buenos Aires. This is an additional cost.

Pre-Arrivals and Welcome Materials

Spanish students receive an electronic pre-arrival pack one week before their arrival in Buenos Aires, as well as welcome and orientation materials on their first day at Expanish. This includes city maps, city information, phone card, discount cards, and more.

Conversation Partner

All Spanish students have the opportunity to further their Spanish practice by teaming up with a conversation partner in Buenos Aires. Students will be teamed up with native Speakers (English & Spanish) and will spend equal time practising each language.

Expanish Institute

Our Spanish school is housed in a beautiful French style building, complete with winding staircase, hardwood floors, sky high ceilings, and large windows that open to the street entrance below.

  • The school has 15 classrooms, each outfitted with a work desk, various chairs, and additional work items such as televisions, stereo’s, whiteboards, maps, and Spanish materials.
  • There are two outside patios on the main floor, perfect for getting some fresh air during classes or soaking up the sun in the afternoons.
  • There is a beverage area adjoining one of the patios where students will find coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, and snacks throughout the day.
  • The schools large common room includes the reception, computer station, travel and reading materials. Here students can relax, eat lunch, read, use the computers, and meet for activities, excursions, or any other organized event at Expanish
