Don Quijote Spanish School in Madrid

The don Quijote school is situated right in the centre of Madrid, near to the Gran Via, Alcalá and Cibeles, in an area that is very easy to access from any point in the city.

The school has a secretariat, a lounge area, a computer room, an office for the director of studies, a phone box, a staff room, 13 bright classrooms and 3 other small rooms for individual lessons. The school is also air-conditioned.

Local festivals

  • The 2nd of May festival: This is a celebration of the Madrid community: concerts, open air activities and bull fighting are on the programme.
  • San Isidro :The 15th May sees the start of the festival of San Isidro, the patron saint of Madrid. The citizens stop their normal routine and go meet in the Saint’s meadow to drink the miraculous water from the Hermitage fountain. This period of the year is also marked by the bullfighting season, which takes place from mid-May to mid-June, in the arena of Plaza Monumental de las Ventas. Concerts and other activities are also organised.
