As the name suggests, service learning Canada is a way to learn the practicalities of one’s studies during providing service for the real life needs of the community. In this way, service learning brings together the students, parents and community to create a better world. Teachers, schools and districts throughout the country have implemented service learning. Students engage in tasks that challenge them cognitively and developmentally.
